Outfit post, Forever21 shipping review, etc

Here's what I wore yesterday:

Shirt: Citywear
Shorts: Forever21

I've been wearing a lot of loose button-ups lately, since I don't like shirts that stick to my skin when it's hot outside. Sorry for all the mirror shots! I've been too lazy to set up a tripod.

---

I wanted a blazer and shoes from Forever21 but they didn't have my size in the store. Thank goodness their online store had it, but I was a little iffy about how fast their shipping is, as well as the quality of the clothes since they came directly from their warehouse. But I decided to give it a try. I ordered about $55 worth of stuff and got a 10% discount as well as free shipping from a coupon code. They shipped my order the next day (I ordered at night) and it came an amazing three days later, on a Saturday! I guess I should thank UPS and USPS too :) I think they used UPS SurePost which I was iffy about, but it worked out really well.

I ordered a peach 3/4 Sleeve Blazer and Stacked Heel Brogues. They came in perfect condition! Here's an outfit of me wearing them.

Now you can finally see how short I am (a whopping 5'2").  So sorry for the background (as you can tell, I blurred some of the details of it for your benefit). I got those peachy-pink shorts at Citywear. It's funny because I'm usually not attracted to pinkish colors, but different shades of pink are fun to put together :)

Today was a really fun day! I hung out with my niece and nephew and we had a ton of fun playing with gadgets at Best Buy. We drew on touchscreen monitors, played on Macbooks and Photobooth, and also played the Dance Central game for Xbox Kinect. Their dad bought dance games for the Wii and they're so much fun! Tiring but fun. A good way to exercise indoors XD

Outfit post!

I've been really into polka-dots lately, so here's a polka-dot outfit!

Shirt: Kohl's
Shorts: Asos

Those shorts are probably my favorite shorts now. I ordered it from the Petite section of Asos, and it fits so nicely!! Anyway, it's been hitting the high 90s and low 100s (Fahrenheit) here lately and it's almost unbearable to go out in the sun. I wish summer here wasn't so hot! Also, I can't find my iPod and my phone charger stopped working :( So right now, I have no phone I can use until my new charger comes. Blergh.

Thanks for reading! Byebyee.

Korean drama Big! Jang Ma Ri's Hair Accessories, etc

Lately, I've been watching the Korean drama Big, and I find myself really liking it so far. It hasn't lost my attention yet unlike some of the other dramas I left unfinished. It stars Lee Min-Jung, Gong Yoo, Shin Won-Ho, and Bae Suzy. The fact that Gong Yoo and Miss A's Suzy are going to be in this drama attracted me into watching it since I loved Coffee Prince and Dream High. I don't wanna spoil anything so here's a link to the drama sypnosis: Korean Drama Big Sypnosis. I highly recommend it!

Anyway, what I noticed a lot was Jang Ma Ri's (Suzy's character) hair accessories.

Now I have a slight obsession with bows and headbands. She just looks so adorable with them that I just had to buy one. So I did!

I bought this Polka Dot Bow Headband from Forever21 for only $1.50! So cheap! (Hehe, i made a gif cuz they're fun).

Also, it's been incredibly hot here in my hometown in California because it's in the inland. I've been missing living in school in San Diego, where the ocean is only 10 min away by walking. To cool myself off, I've been drinking a LOT of lemonade. I've been really sad about not being able drink my usual hot coffee and creamer, since it's blazing hot, so I've been squeezing lemons away.

I used like 8 packets of artificial sweetener (sucralose) so the drink is less than 10 calories. It tastes really good and refreshing! I usually hate artificial sweeteners on drinks but they work well on cold teas and lemonades. Excuse my nursing home cup haha. I use it because it keeps the drink cool! It was free too. Now, I can enjoy browsing the web and derping around wasting time in my sleep clothes with my cold lemonade.

First post! Asos online purchasing and tights review

Hello everyone! I finally made a blogger blog and actually designed my own layout. I hope you guys don't get freaked out by my drawing on my header. Anywho, my blog will consists of mostly fashion, as well as personal and random stuff that I feel like writing about. For this post, I'm going to be reviewing Asos' Sheer Side Slash Tights, as well as their packaging and their shipping.

On the shipping information on their website, it says that the free shipping will take about 6 business days, which was pretty accurate since it took exactly 6 business days when my order arrived. Their packaging is a gray sealed plastic bag with their logo on it:

The tights look completely similar as the one they had on the site, which is a huge plus. They're definitely unique, and a fun addition to my wardrobe. Overall, I give Asos and these tights a 5/5. I'm really excited to come up with outfits using these tights as my statement piece.
